The sports and exercise centres sector has developed into a professional and dynamic business. A strong and well-organised sector organisation is an important added value in order to lift the sector to a higher level and to further develop it qualitatively. VES
The Dutch Association for Exclusive Sports Centres, VES is an umbrella organisation with which 70 fitness centres are associated. For you as our customer it is important to know that all VES sports centres are assessed in accordance with the LERF total, a quality test recognised by the Dutch Ministry of VWS (public health, well-being and sports). It is the strictest test in the field of quality. All centres associated to the VES are tested on the provision of services and their skills, accommodation, hygiene and operational management. LERF
The Dutch Association National Recognition of Fitness Regulations (LERF) is an association that was founded independently by the sector in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry for VWS. This Association comprises representatives of owners of fitness and sports centres, trade unions and the sector organisations. An independent testing agency appointed by the LERF Association assesses whether fitness/sports centres comply with the requirements that may be set to professional companies in this sector.
Aspects such as accommodation, hygiene, safety, expertise, personnel, equipment, etc. are assessed. There are two quality marks: LERF Basic, for centres that comply with the minimum requirements, and LERF Total. The quality mark LERF Total not only guarantees the minimum quality requirements, but also sports centres are stimulated to allow the quality level to grow further, in which the customer is always at the centre point. EFAA
EFAA Health Management is a service organisation for sports and health centres. Since 1994 they have stimulated and inspired entrepreneurs, managers and employees in the sports and health sector with new ideas on marketing and customer orientation, training methods and quality, employability and management. Calibris
As the centre of expertise for practical learning in the sectors Car, Welfare and Sport, Calibris is responisble for the approval of learning establishments and the adoption of qualifications. With its knowledge and experience, Calibris provides a valuable contribution to bringing about seamless ties between professional practice and vocational education, between employer and employee, and between the government and companies. Regional Center for Talent and Top-class Sport
The Regional Centre for Talent and Top-class Sport (formerly the Olympic centre) occupies itself with;
A. Coaching top-class sport, among which the Individual Coaching of (upcoming) top-class sportsmen/women and the implementation of the Facilities Network (medical, social, and sport-organisational provision of services);
B. Talent development among which are Training Centres for sport talent (12-18 years old) and the implementation of the knowledge and expertise network;
C. Talent discovery among which is the support of clubs in the improvement of the quality of coaching talent (up to 11 years old). Aerofit is qualified to coach top-class sportspersons at their own club. http://www.regiosteunpunt.nl/
