Medical fitness training is a very successful treatment method for various disorders of the locomotor apparatus. A lasting reduction or disappearance of complaints is mostly achieved by a personal, well-motivated, motivating and long-lasting movement programme. Medical fitness training is a training programme adjusted to individual capacity. It aims at the correction of specific complaints or better functioning with a certain disorder.
Medical fitness takes the individual as the point of departure. On that basis, specific training is formulated. This training is medically sound and aims at the complaint pattern.
Medical fitness always has the objective to restore, improve and maintain the health of the participant. The improvement of the general condition, endurance, feeling of fitness, power, heart/lung condition, coordination, the reduction of body weight, but also the improvement of self-confidence, mood, stress management and self management are within reach for everyone.
