Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is intended for people with complaints regarding the position and movement of their body. This means functional disturbances at the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. Example: muscles too tight, tendonitis, ligament pain and arthrosis. Consequences of functional disturbances to the nervous system, blood vessels, lungs, heart, and skin can be treated as well. These include, among others, the consequences of: multiple sclerosis, stroke, CNSLD, heart attack, and endometriosis.

The complaints can originate from carrying out activities, accidents, stress, or as a result of aging. By means of physiotherapy the functional disturbances can be stabilised, reduced or resolved. The limitations that are linked to them can be optimised, restored or improved.

What is physiotherapy?
The physiotherapist stabilises, reduces or restores the functional disturbance or the results thereof by applying exercise therapy, massage, electrotherapy, consultations and/or coaching. With this he tries to improve the function of the position and movement of the body to such an extent that normal position and movement are possible again, or to teach you how you can handle the remaining limitations as well as possible.

For which complaints is physiotherapy suitable?
Many complaints with regard to the position and movement of the body can be influenced positively by the physiotherapist. In this you can think of:
- Pain to the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints
- Swelling of joints
- Strength reduction
- Movement reduction
- Stiffness
- Problems with moving
- Disturbance of equilibrium
- Breathing problems
- Fatigue symptoms or condition reduction as a result of the underlying complaint
